Welcome to Luxor! Upon arrival at Luxor airport, we'll pick you up. We can also pick you up at the train station, at a hotel or any other place. From there you'll be transported to a luxurious cruise ship, where your full room and board experience begins.
After a delicious breakfast, check out the majestic city of Luxor, known as Thebes in ancient times. Visit two of Egypt's most awe-inspiring temples: the Luxor and Karnak Temple, connected by the Avenue of Sphynxes.
Venture to the imposing necropolises near Luxor, including the Valley of the Kings (with access to three tombs), the Temple of Hatshepsut (dedicated to Egypt's only female ruler), and the Colossi of Memnon (two monumental stone statues representing Pharaoh Amenhotep III). Plus, we'll reach an artisanal store to learn about the locals' craftsmanship to make impressive pieces of stone, alabaster, and sculptures.
After returning to the boat, we'll set sail towards Edfu, where we'll dock for dinner and overnight.
After a hearty breakfast, we'll take a horse and carriage tour of Edfu and visit its famous temple, which is dedicated to Horus. We'll then head to Kom Ombo to explore its remarkable temple, honoring the gods Sobek and Hareoris.
As the day unfolds, we'll cruise up the Nile to Aswan to spend the night.
Following breakfast, visit one of Egypt's most exquisite temples, the Philae Temple, devoted to the Goddess Isis. If you wish, after visiting Philae, a visit to the Abu Simbel temples is highly recommended.
Before the afternoon, we'll visit a perfume shop to learn all the secrets behind Egyptian fragrances. Afterward, we'll take you on a tranquil journey down the Nile in a traditional felucca boat, allowing you to absorb the region's natural beauty, volcanic islands, and abundant flora and fauna. Another night in Aswan awaits.
After breakfast and check-out, enjoy a bit of free time. We'll be ready to transport you to your departing mode of transport location. If your departure is in the evening, you can enjoy lunch onboard.
